Ferry Crossing With a Dog to Kalymnos

Keep your dog's EU Pet Passport and vaccination records accessible during the crossing — not in the hold. For longer crossings, book a cabin to give your dog a calm, enclosed space rather than the crowded passenger deck. Arrive at the ferry port at least 90 minutes before departure when travelling with a pet: the vehicle ramp boarding process for dogs requires check-in at the port kiosk before boarding, which is separate from standard foot passenger check-in and takes additional time at busy ports. Bring a collapsible water bowl and sufficient water for the full crossing duration.
