Teleporio™ — Greek Island Travel Intelligence

Editorial Policy

Teleporio™ editorial policy — how we research, write, and review travel content. Our standards for accuracy, independence, and transparency.

How Teleporio Researches and Writes Content

Teleporio's travel content is produced by the Teleporio editorial team — travel writers, ferry travel researchers, and island specialists who have direct experience of the routes, crossings, and destinations covered on this platform. Every route guide, island profile, and travel condition article is written from a combination of first-hand research, official operator schedules, Greek maritime authority data, and Beaufort/weather pattern analysis.

We do not publish AI-generated content as editorial. Where we use analytical tools to process data — for example, Beaufort frequency modelling across months and island groups — the outputs are reviewed, verified, and written up by human editors before publication. Our standard is accuracy: if we write that a catamaran cancels at Beaufort 6, it is because that is what Greek port authority data and operator cancellation records show.

Independence and Commercial Relationships

Teleporio earns revenue through affiliate partnerships and display advertising. These commercial relationships do not influence our editorial assessments. When we give a route a high Teleporio Score™, it is because the crossing scores well on time, cost, conditions, and reliability — not because an operator has a commercial arrangement with us. Routes from operators we partner with are evaluated by the same scoring criteria as all others.

When affiliate links are present in content, they are disclosed. When advertising is displayed, it is clearly separated from editorial content. See the Affiliate Disclosure and Advertising Disclosure pages for full detail on our commercial structures.

Corrections and Updates

Ferry schedules change. Beaufort patterns shift seasonally. New operators enter and leave routes. We update our content when we become aware of inaccuracies or significant changes. If you identify an error in any Teleporio content, please contact us at niki@teleporio.com with the page URL and the correction. We aim to review and respond within five working days.

Dates and Freshness

Publication and review dates are shown on editorial content pages. Dates reflect when content was last substantively reviewed against current operator data and Beaufort records. A reviewed date means the content has been checked against current schedules and conditions — not that only minor edits were made.
